What this tool is for, what it is not, and where to find help.

What the number means
LooksAudit scores a photo, not a person. The same face lit from a window and lit from a phone screen gets different numbers; the same face at eye level and from below gets different numbers. The score is an AI estimate of how conventionally attractive a particular photo reads, re-mapped so that 5 is the middle of the curve. Most people are between 4 and 6. That is not a verdict on anyone's worth, and we write every line of the report in feature language ("the jaw reads soft in this light") rather than judgement language, on purpose.
What we refuse to recommend
Some things that circulate online can injure you: striking the face to reshape bone, starvation diets, skin lightening, steroids, unprescribed peptides or hormones. The report names these as refused when the model considers them, and we do not sell or link to them. Prescription treatments, dental work and procedures only ever appear as questions to bring to a licensed professional, who is the one to decide.
If this is hard
This report is an automated estimate of conventional attractiveness in a photo. It is not a medical, dermatological or psychological assessment and not advice to undergo any procedure. Scores vary with lighting, angle and the limits of the model. If thinking about your appearance is causing you distress, you are not alone: in the US call or text 988; in the UK call Samaritans on 116 123; the BDD Foundation (bddfoundation.org) has information on body dysmorphic disorder.
Body dysmorphic disorder is a recognised condition in which a person is preoccupied with perceived flaws that others barely notice. If you find yourself re-scanning repeatedly, checking mirrors for hours, or avoiding people because of your appearance, please talk to a doctor. A tool like this one is not for you right now, and we would rather lose a customer than add to that.
